Message of the painting: 
In a harmony of cream, black and dark green, ‘Dark Side’ stands like a Citadel, a symbol of protection and refuge. Cream represents soft light, a reminder of hope in a complex and sometimes dark world.
Black envelops the structure, evoking the depth of mystery and the unknowable. Each shadow tells stories of battles and triumphs, of fears and courage. It is a colour that invites us to explore not only the outer spaces, but also the inner abysses.
The dark green of the sky symbolises life that perseveres even in darkness. It represents nature that, despite challenges, continues to grow and flourish, calling to mind images of resilience and rebirth.
